has been working as a freelance illustrator in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for over 30 years. During that time I have  worked with most of the trade and educational book and  periodical publishers based in Ontario. Essentially  a self-taught artist, I usually work in pen & ink and watercolour. I can best describe my work as a simple line drawing with or without the addition of more texture and either in b&w or colour. Style-wise, I’m quite versatile and have developed  a variety of approaches to illustration that are displayed in my portfolio and which can be adapted to various projects.

    Unusual projects during my career have been an underground comic book, The Flames of Terpsichore; an erotic murder-mystery set in the world of dance, written by Toronto writer and Jungian analyst, Graham Jackson, and published by small press, Barbers’ Friend, and the entrance designs and exhibition illustrations for CONNEXIONS, a permanent exhibition on the theme of the history of telecommunications for the Museum of Science and Technology in Ottawa, Ontario.
